With the abundance of WILD Roosters your dogs are sure to get more experience in three days with us then most dogs do in an entire year.

When it comes to natural terrain, South Dakota is the perfect environment for your pheasant hunting dogs. Our most popular package stays are for three days and four nights. In that time, your dogs will get a lot of practice pointing and retrieving. Here, your dog will gain applicable hunting skills for any environment.

You will also have a great chance to harvest some Hungarian Partridge and Sharp Tailed Grouse while you are here as well. These birds are covered under your regular non resident or resident small game license. The limit on Partridge is 5 per day and the limit on Sharp Tailed Grouse and/or Prairie Chicken combination is 3 per day.

We have a 90% success rate on return customers. This is saying something for our program. Great hospitality, fantastic dog work and seeing hundreds of wild south dakota pheasants each day is a combination that has made us very successful.

We offer flexible packages, for parties as large as 20 people. We also offer special rates for non-hunting spouses, so you can make your trip a real family affair. We also offer corporate retreats. Whether you are a small family group or a large corporate group we will make sure you have the South Dakota Pheasant Hunting experience you were hoping for.

For many hunters, and especially for those who need to travel significant distances to hunt, the hunting experience can be a crap shoot. First there are the arrangements to make; booking hotel rooms, arranging for meals, securing the necessary permits, and finding transportation all complicate what should be a relaxing trip. Then there's the hunt itself. Even the most experienced of hunters can have no luck on the hunt. For this reason, more hunters are choosing to utilize hunting lodges to harvest their SD Wild Pheasants.

With a Host to Accommodate Your Needs

Our accommodations are clean, quiet and comfortable. You'll bunk in a fully furnished 2-story bunkhouse cabin, on the outskirts of town.

You will be able to walk out the back door and shoot clay pigeons to warm up before the hunt. Later, return to the comfortable area with a bar to relax and swap hunting stories about your pheasant or deer hunt.

Our second lodge is also fully furnished and is right on our hunting property. All the comforts of home with the small town atmosphere South Dakota is known for.

We are only a few miles from the Cabela's store in Mitchell, SD so if you need anything before or after the hunt it is no problem getting there.
